Listowel to inspect this afternoon Tomorrow's Guinness Kerry National meeting at Listowel is subject to a 4pm inspection by the Turf Club this afternoon. Officials have taken the decision to look at the Co. Kerry track with conditions currently heavy, while parts of the track are partially waterlogged and unfit for racing. The meetings scheduled for Listowel both yesterday and today have already been lost to the weather, with an extra fixture already arranged for Sunday. Two further replacement meetings have been organised next week at Navan (Monday) and Naas (Wednesday) to help fill the void. The weather forecast for today is dry and bright.
