Loughnane & McAteer in Ffos Las raid Six Irish trained horses will do battle at Ffos Las this evening with Daniel Mark Loughnane responsible for two, with the other four under the care of Liam McAteer. Both trainers appearing to have decent chances of success on the seven race all flat card down for decision at the Welsh venue, with the first race due to go off at 5.30. Both men have representatives in the opener, a Handicap over five furlongs, with Loughnane saddling Just For Mary while McAteer has See You Smile. Just For Mary, who will be ridden by Andrea Atzeni, won over the course and distance just last month and will be well fancied to do so again here after two good efforts at Chester and Cork since. Although her recent form doesn't read too well, See You Smile has interestingly finished ahead of Just For Mary on the two occasions they met in May of this year. The 4yo filly by Camacho did put in an improved effort last time out at the Curragh behind Lake George and she could run well in this open handicap under Martin Harley. Liam McAteer's, She's My Dandy should give a good account of herself in the second race under James Doyle, with some decent form to her name. However Caledonia Lady will prove hard to beat, having finished third in the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot and eighth in the Cherry Hinton at Newmarket last time out. An hour later at 7.00, McAteer will again give Martin Harley the leg up on his Yellow Dandy in a six furlong 3yo Handicap. This daughter of Kheleyf won her maiden over the course on her sole visit to the track back in September of last year and having put in some good efforts lately she can be expected to go close. McAteer's last runner of the day is That's A Fret in the 7.30 (a Handicap over five furlongs) with Martin Harley again in the saddle. This six timer winning 5yo has yet to score this year, but went close on his last start at Cork when finishing fast to take second behind Big Bad Lily at Cork last month. Top weight Judge n'Jury off 9-10 will provide stiff opposition but carrying just 8-8 the son of Choisir should give a good account of himself. Yourinthewill for Daniel Mark Loughnane will round off the evening for the Irish raiders in the 8.30 which is a Handicap over a mile and two. This unexposed gelded son of Aragorn is having just his second start in Handicap company and could run well in what looks an open contest. Donal Murphy
