Tony Martin has every faith in Donagh Meyler after handing him the high-profile ride on Heartbreak City in the Coral.ie Hurdle at Leopardstown on Sunday.

Last seen being narrowly touched off in the Melbourne Cup, the money-spinning seven-year-old also won at the Galway Festival as well as bagging the Ebor at York.

He returns to hurdling off a mark of 125 and has been a popular ante-post proposition.

"Donagh is as good a young lad as we've seen in the last five years," said Martin.

"I've been fortunate enough to have two of what I think are the best three young riders in the last five years in Donagh and Shane Shortall, along with Jack Kennedy.

"Donagh generally rides most of my horses. The owners don't have a problem with him, he's a hard-working fellow and would always be my number one choice.

"He has been with me for the past two or three years since Shane Shortall moved on."
