Marvel supplemented for Arc John Gosden's impressive St Leger winner Masked Marvel has been added to the field for Sunday's Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe at a cost of €100,000. The Clarehaven handler has taken the decision after the ground was deemed too fast for his initial intended runner in the race, King George hero Nathaniel. Also added to the field at the final supplementary stage was Andre Fabre's Grand Prix de Paris winner Meandre, owned by the Rothschild Family, and German filly Danedream, a dual Group 1 winner, trained by Peter Schiergen. The three additions to the field for the Arc means there will be a maximum of 16 runners with Seville withdrawn at this latest stage, although the final field will not be confirmed until Friday morning.
