Master all set for Aintree return Master Minded is an intended runner in Saturday's Betfred Monet's Garden Old Roan Chase at Aintree. The dual Champion Chase winner showed his liking for the course, and the two-and-a-half-mile trip, when running away with the Melling Chase at the Grand National meeting, and is set to return to Merseyside this weekend. He will be forced to concede weight to all of his rivals, but owner Clive Smith feels it is the ideal race for Master Minded to begin the new campaign. Smith said: "I've spoken to Paul (Nicholls, trainer) and we're definitely going, which is great news. "I love the Flat racing but when you own jumpers, this is what it's all about and I can't wait to get started. "Master Minded worked this morning and is in good shape, so we look forward to Saturday." Nicholls confirmed on Twitter that fellow Old Roan entry Tataniano instead runs in the toteexacta Handicap Chase at Chepstow the same afternoon.
