McGuinness completes Dundalk double Trainer Ado McGuinness won the opening two races at Dundalk today, completing the feat in the Irishinjuredjockeys.com Handicap with Beau Army (5/1), under Rory Cleary. Racing behind the leaders, Cleary progressed the 45-rated daughter of Invincible Army to lead inside the final furlong, to score by a half-length from Queen Leila . McGuinness, successful in the opening claimer with the Sam Coen-partnered Una Matata, stated "I thought the six (furlongs) was sharp enough for her the last day and seven is more of her thing. She's solid, is a gamey little filly and she has really hit her stride. "She might get into Lingfield (Good Friday) and I think she will handle a bit of juice in the ground, so there's plenty of options there for her. I was going to run her a few weeks ago, but she was out of the handicap and I said no, as I don't like giving weight back to the handicapper. "Whether we keep her going for the year or sell her, we’ll see but she will be a great fun filly for someone.” Quotes from Michael Graham
