Midnight Jet's in to complete three-timer over hurdles Successful in his last two runs over flights, the Henry De Bromhead trained Midnight Jet brought up the three-timer when keeping on best to win the Guinness Novice Hurdle at Galway. Prominent throughout under Darragh O'Keeffe, the Anthony Head owned 6/5f came through to challenge leader Roc Dino at the penultimate flight. Touching in down in front upon jumping the last, the Maxios gelding stayed on strongly up the hill to register a one-and-a-quarter length victory. Henry De Bromhead said: "He was tough, Darragh gave him a super ride and I'm delighted to get a winner here. "He stays and jumps really well and I'm delighted for Tony and Caroline Head, who are over from Phoenix, Arizona. They are brilliant supporters of ours and of the game, so it is lovely to get them a winner here. "Sam Curling recommended him to Tony and the horse has improved the whole time. He seems fairly adaptable ground-wise and with coming here always being the plan, we need to back off him now. "He is only a novice until the end of November so we'll have to plot a course."
