Willie Mullins is strongly placed to land the Grade 2 BAR 1 Betting Hilly Way Chase for a seventh successive year with the champion trainer set to be represented by both Majborough and Energumene at Cork on Sunday.

Majborough was a smart novice over fences last season winning twice at Grade 1 level while Energumene bids to land this valuable prize for an unprecedented fourth time.

Gordon Elliott has entered recent BAR 1 Betting Fortia Chase winner Found A Fifty, while Banbridge will make his seasonal reappearance at the Mallow venue before trying to repeat last year’s victory in the King George VI Chase at Kempton.

John Ryan’s Ad Caelum completes the five entries.

The €100,000 Bar 1 Betting Hilly Way Chase is one of four races being shown live on RTE2 with the programme beginning at 1pm.

BAR 1 Betting CEO, Barney O'Hare said: “We are thrilled to continue our support of Irish racing. The Hilly Way Chase attracts top-class horses and offers a day of thrilling racing for local fans. Supporting the local community and providing jobs in the region remains at the heart of everything we do.

"There has been a great response to our rebrand and the launch of our new app from customers, both new and existing, and our aim is to continue investing in our overall offerings and products for our customers.”
