Trainer Ciaran Murphy is expecting a good run from Moudan in today's 2m1f handicap chase at Navan.

A winner at Limerick over Christmas, the Mount Nelson 7-year-old was fifth in a Listed contest at Gowran Park a fortnight ago.

"We thought he ran a solid race in a good handicap in Gowran - we thought he ran a cracker, to be honest," said the Mullingar handler.

"I think he will go and run a nice race. We are happy with him, he is in good form.

"He has top-weight for a reason and a good 7lb off him, Eoghan (Finegan) knows him well."
