O'Donoghue appeals severity of suspension

Colm O'Donoghue has appealed the severity of the five days suspension the jockey received at Down Royal on July 28.

Derby winner O'Donoghue failed to weigh in on third-placed Misty Mountain, in the Magners Forbidden Flavours H'cap and, under Rule 131(iii) and 230 (ii) suspended him for 5 racedays and ordered that he forfeit his riding fee.
