Pinker Pinker wins Cox Plate

Pinker Pinker was delivered with cool precision to win the Tatts Cox Plate at Moonee Valley.

The Greg Eurell-trained filly, ridden by Craig Williams, arrived with a late burst inside the final furlong to defeat Jimmy Choux with a degree of ease.

Rekindled Interest finished third.

Williams said: "I worked her through the week and I trusted her.

"She was great. When I gave her a smack she just lifted.

"She's just so tough and honest."

Eurell added: "It's taking a bit to absorb.

"This is the ultimate goal. She's been the ultimate professional all of the way through.

"She's just done a great job."
