Pique to try Dundalk again Pique Sous is set to return to Dundalk on Friday following his antics at the County Louth circuit last week. A Royal Ascot winner in 2014 for the Supreme Horse Racing Club, the Willie Mullins-trained grey was due to make his first appearance since last year's Royal meeting on the all-weather last Friday. However, Pique Sous unshipped Pat Smullen when being loaded into the stalls and was predictably withdrawn after galloping loose on the track for around 10 minutes. Steve Massey, racing manager for the owners, said: "He's going to go back to Dundalk this week, so fingers crossed he gets round with jockey on this time! "It was frustrating what happened the other day, but the horse looked well and has not suffered any damage, so we'll try again." Pique Sous is one of 16 entries for Friday's Racing Post Handicap over a mile and a half. The 10-year-old also holds an entry in the Betway Winter Derby at Lingfield on February 25th.
