Riches is Gold Cup bound Noel Meade is looking forward to running Road To Riches in the Irish Gold Cup. Meade has been held up with his stable star this season after he was pulled up in the Galway Plate. It was a rush to get him to the Lexus at Christmas but Meade was happy with his run in eighth and expects him to be much closer next month at Leopardstown. "He's in tremendous form. I was delighted with him at Leopardstown because I was getting there a bit quick but I was keen to give him a run when the ground came up good," said Meade. "He ran well, he jumped well but he just got a bit tired at the end. "He'll definitely go for the Hennessy (Irish Gold Cup) and I hope he's a contender, I'm very happy with him anyway. "I forget about the rest and if I get my horse right I'm happy to go wherever but I'm hoping to run in the (Cheltenham) Gold Cup and I hope he keeps going the way he is at the moment because he looks tremendous."
