Ado McGuinness' charge has landed the last two runnings of the seven-furlong contest and bids to enhance his fantastic record around Ballybrit. The seven-year-old has run five times around the course, winning three times and being placed third on the other two occasions. He has failed to trouble the judge so far this season but has shown glimpses on his most recent outings and has fallen to an attractive mark as a result. A rating of 72 is 3lb lower than he had when taking the race 12 months ago and the ease in the ground also looks to be playing to his strengths. Grainne's Dream is an obvious threat in the 50-80 rated event, with Pat Smullen again taking the mount on Willie Mullins' charge. She battled well to score at Killarney on her first outing for the yard and there should be more to come from the Acclamation filly. The Caulfield Industrial Handicap over the extended mile looks a competitive event with plenty of challengers lining up in good form. Peter Fahey has enjoyed a great summer to date and he will be hoping for a big run from Serefeli. The gelding travelled well and kicked to win his race at Naas last time, only to get nabbed in the closing stages. Dropping back slightly in trip, he appears to have a big shout off just a 1lb higher mark. Zippy aims for a hat-trick in the race following wins at Tipperary and Dundalk. Johnny Levins' charge looks an improved performer and should run a big race despite a 7lb rise on turf.
