Tipp now yielding

The going has improved slightly for this afternoon's all National Hunt fixture at Tipperary, with the ground now described as yielding.

Provisionally the going was given as yielding to soft at declaration time yesterday, and a seven race card with the 4-5yo's two mile maiden hurdle divided gets underway at 1.55pm.

Racing tomorrow is at Navan where the ground is currently soft ahead of their all Flat meeting.

The weather forecast is to be mainly dry today, with widespread rain predicted for tomorrow.

Looking ahead to next Sunday, the going is good to yielding at Limerick for their big Munster National fixture while the Curragh hosts its final meeting of the year on the same day.

Entry will be free at headquarters where the ground is described as soft on the round course and heavy on the straight track.

There will also be schooling races at the Curragh next Tuesday (October 11) over six furlongs, a mile, twelve furlongs and two miles. The cost is €125 per horse, and for further details you can contact Niamh or Yvonne at 045 441205 by Friday.
