Tynan and Kitty 'a good team' Orla Tynan won on Kitty Bear for the third time this year in the 0-60 handicap over seven and a half furlongs at Roscommon. The 10/3 joint-favourite raced in mid-division down the hill from stalls and fly-leapt when running short of room after a couple of furlongs, going on to stumble shortly afterwards. Given time to find her feet, Charles Kerwin's four-year-old was brought to the outside two furlongs out and picked up very smartly to storm to the front over a furlong out. The other joint-favourite, Brains, had travelled well to lead under two furlongs out but had no answer to the winner's burst and there were two and three-quarter lengths between them at the line.  Winning trainer Andy Slattery said “She got no run in Gowran the last day. In those 0-60 handicaps, when things go your way, you have a chance.  “That’s three she’s won now. I bought her for two grand so we’ve had a bit of fun out of her. “She probably should have won more, she was hitting the front too soon in Dundalk. “I had to tell her to hold her up a little bit and take her time, she was idling in front and probably got beat a couple of times she shouldn’t have. “She’s in the 70s now so she’s going to find it a bit tougher. We’re running her every week and we’ll keep running her until she tells us to stop. “Orla gets on well with her, they are a good team.” Additional reporting by Gary Carson
