Numerous jockeys were injured yesterday evening at Killarney and Down Royal, but thankfully none of their injuries were too serious

Dr Adrian McGoldrick, Turf Club Senior Medical Officer, said this morning: "Ben Dalton is on his way home from Belfast.

"He was out for five minutes after the fall, but he is absolutely fine. He will be stood down for six days, as is standard procedure after concussion, and he will then be re-assessed.

"Mikey O'Connor was airlifted to Cork. The horse he was riding (Moon Dice) rolled-over on his chest, and my colleague, Doctor Adrian Murphy, made the right call to have him airlifted to Cork, as he potentially had bruising to his heart and chest injuries.

"I was talking to Mikey this morning and he is stable and walking around, but he does have multiple rib fractures and chest trauma and he will be out for up to six weeks.

"Ryan Treacy has a shoulder ligament injury which will be assessed on Monday once the swelling has gone down.

"Barry Geraghty, Robbie Power and Adrian Heskin are all okay. They all had soft tissue damage."
