Vedette declared for Punchestown tomorrow

The Colm Murphy trained mare Voler La Vedette will face 8 rivals for her seasonal debut at Punchestown on Wednesday in The Grabel (Mares) Listed Hurdle.

Barry Geraghty will ride the 6-Y-0 which he last partnered when they finished third to Quevega at Cheltenham in March.

The expected Good to Frim going at Punchestown will be the fastest surface she has raced on, but with over a stone in hand of her rivals on official figures she will be fancied to win.

Voler La Vedette has won on her seasonal debut in each of the last two years, including when scoring in this race twelve months ago.
