Viztoria set for Deauville test Eddie Lynam has an embarrassment of riches in the sprinting department with Sole Power and Slade Power, but not far behind those two is the filly Viztoria, who tackles Group One company in the Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville on Sunday. She was third behind Slade Power on Champions Day last season but has only been seen once this year, in the Greenlands Stakes behind the same horse. However, given she won the Park Stakes over seven furlongs and handles soft ground, she has plenty in her favour. "She's been training very well and we're very happy with her. She's as good as we can get her," said Lynam. "I think she will enjoy the distance and they have had a lot of rain over there, so the ground should be in her favour too. "In an ideal world I would have liked to have got another run into her, but that didn't happen due to the ground." Richard Fahey's Garswood, John Gosden's Gregorian, David Simcock's Caspar Netscher and Lady Cecil's Joyeuse are among other overseas challengers.
