Weld duo earmarked for October return Zannda and Eshera, good winners for the Aga Khan and Dermot Weld at Cork last month, are set to go in search of further big-race success in the autumn. The former is set to step up for the Group Two Qatar Prix de Royallieu at Longchamp on October 3 following her victory in the Group Three Give Thanks Stakes. Eshera, winner of the Listed Platinum Stakes on the same card at the Mallow venue, is pencilled in for the Garnet Stakes, in the same grade, at Naas on October 18. "The plans at the moment are Zannda is likely to go to Paris for the Prix Royallieu and Eshera is likely to go to Naas for the Garnet Stakes in mid-October," said Pat Downes, manager of the Aga Khan's Irish Studs.
