William Hill to sponsor King George Bookmakers William Hill have announced a four-year deal to sponsor the King George VI Chase at Kempton. The #5million contract for the Boxing Day showpiece will run until the end of 2012. Kempton's managing director, Amy Starkey, said: "We're delighted to have reached an agreement on a four-year sponsorship for Kempton Park's flagship jumps meeting of the year. "The William Hill winte festival will further strengthen the racecourse." Kauto Star, who has won the last three renewals of the King George, has been installed as William Hill's 10-11 favourite for the historic Grade One event.
