Zenyatta raring to go

Zenyatta is raring to go ahead of her bid for another Breeders' Cup Classic victory.

America's wonder horse will bid to bring down the curtain on a sensational career at Churchill Downs on Saturday week.

And the signs are that the brilliant mare is right on track to make it a perfect 20 wins from 20 starts.

She was out on the track at Hollywood Park to work under regular exercise rider Steve Willard and he had to use all his strength to pull her up after a 12-furlong gallop.

"That was a good gallop," trainer John Shirreffs told the official Breeders' Cup website.

"No concerns at this point. Although, I do want to get her on the (dirt) training track again this week and off the synthetics."

"She did great," added Willard. "Just terrific. She didn't want to pull up and said, 'hey, let's do some more."

Zenyatta, who won the Classic with an unforgettable stretch run at Santa Anita last year, is due to head for Kentucky next Tuesday to prepare for Saturday's big race.
