FormscanBy Alan Magee - BRAESIDE won a 2m6f maiden on testing ground here just over a year ago and this looks a good opportunity to open his account over fences. The Presenting half-brother to Graded winner Loosen My Load has plenty of experience over fences both in point-to-points and on the track this season, and a reproduction of his second to Kavanaghs Corner in a handicap over course and distance back in November may well be good enough. Choungaya appears the obvious threat and boasts the best piece of form over fences by virtue of his second to Tornado Flyer at Naas last season. However, the Joseph O’Brien-trained gelding has been let down by his jumping on a number of occasions since and now takes a drop in class after weakening from the penultimate fence in the Paddy Power Chase at Leopardstown over Christmas.
