By a top stallion, the selection’s Ballindenisk form has yet to be tested but the winner was later sold for E100,000 and Flashy Fred finished ahead of plenty pulled-up horses in the traditionally competitive four-year-old division. Debutante Katie Can’t Count represents Willie Mullins and has a fine pedigree. She is out of a half-sister to J’y Vole and is herself a half-sister to smart My Sister Sarah and while she could well prove to be smart, nonetheless makes a belated debut aged six. Corway showed ability on debut.
