FormscanBy Donal Murphy - In a race dominated by newcomers, it might be worth looking towards the few with form. AGE OF KINGS is the apparent Ballydoyle second-string but he ran a cracker on debut at Naas and that experience should stand to him. Out of Group 2 winner Turret Rocks, the bay colt went down by just a nose at Naas after showing signs of greenness. Woodcock Flight was third on debut over the course and distance, coming home well after a slow start. He too is likely to come on plenty for that effort and should give a good account of himself here. Blanc De Noir is perhaps the most interesting of the debutants. Trained by Jessica Harrington, he is a half-brother to Havana Grey, whose finest moment came at the Curragh in 2018, when winning the Group 1 Flying Five Stakes. The betting should be informative as to which of the newcomers are fancied, with Blindsided, Congo River and Hellsing all likely to have plenty of supporters. The former, who is trained by Donnacha O’Brien, is out of Listed winner Detailed, while Congo River will be partnered by Ryan Moore.
