A short-price favourite on that occasion, he picked up in some style to see off this afternoon's rival Howlin Wolf, and is taken to cope with a 12lb hike in the ratings. Howlin Wolf was previously a winner over a slightly longer distance at the Curragh and might well be second best again, maybe ahead of the likes of both La Tache and Lady Patrone who both run in their first handicap now.
