The Eoin McCarthy-trained gelding beat all bar Crowsatedappletart over course and distance in May and ran better than his finishing position would suggest (hampered at the first) in a competitive event at Galway last week. Ballybrittas had Lady Doyanne just over two lengths behind when successful over course and distance last month and there shouldn’t be much between the pair on these revised terms. Bynx added to four wins over jumps (3 hurdle/1 chase) when scoring on the Flat at Tramore, while Rightfolksplease was reappearing after a lengthy absence when just denied over hurdles here last month.
