FormscanBy Tom Weekes - DABOYA is a lightly-raced hurdler who has solid claims in this admittedly open looking handicap. An able four-time Flat winner, the selection has raced just five times over hurdles but has a good record in this sphere. Ideally suited to good ground, she scored at Bellewstown in August before again running well at Gowran last month, with that race’s well-held third scoring subsequently, to increase that horse’s own rating to 123. Six-time winner Ballybawn Belter was pulled up in a chase on her last jumps start but won on the Flat in October and is a capable handicap hurdler. Avondale hasn’t run since May but had useful form as a novice last season and is reasonably unexposed.

An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards that at entry have run at least four times in hurdle races or that have run three times in hurdle races and been placed first, second, third or fourth in a handicap hurdle
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race or hurdle races after calculation of the handicap shall carry any penalty or penalties which may be allotted by the Handicapper.
