FormscanBy Tom Weekes - Six-time winner GRANN’S BOY has been running well over hurdles and is useful on the Flat. A strong stayer, the selection won a Listed hurdle at the Galway festival in August and while he hasn’t raced in this sphere since March, finished second then and had previously won over today’s trip last October. Nicky Larson has improved over hurdles recently and while he reverts to the Flat with a favourable rating as a progressive three-year-old, nonetheless faces a bigger test of stamina in today’s discipline. Well-bred Glittering Gem is a seven-race maiden but ran well on her first attempt at this trip at Thurles last week, although is drawn wide in 24.
