FormscanBy Tom Weekes - SHE’S ON THE BALL has an outside draw in 20 but has good recent form. Out of a Group-placed dam, the selection’s initial form was poor but she has progressed recently and is well suited by this distance. She was a fast-finishing second at Listowel last month and, being a three-year-old, can progress further. Givehertilxmas is 6lb higher than when scoring at Bellewstown last month and reverts down in distance from stall 22, but would be ideally suited by easing of ground conditions. Last year’s winner Loingseoir is 1lb lower today and ran well here just 11 days ago, but nonetheless is a ten-year-old.

An extended handicap for three years old and upwards (70 = 10st)
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
