He is coming off a break, but represents a stable that targets this festival. Metamorpheus has been in a real consistent vein of form virtually all year. The only time he has finished out of the first four in 2026 was on his opening run at Punchestown in January. He picked up a victory on the Flat at Sligo in May and there was merit in his runner-up spot in the valuable Galway Tribes at the festival. Churchwarden holds the same rating of 108 as Metamorpheus and has had a decent summer which saw him win the Tramore Derby by a big margin.
