The selection again shaped well over course and distance last time when beating all bar Rhythmic Tune and remains on a competitive mark. Maciver handled heavy ground well when completing a four-timer earlier this year including a hurdle and chase win at this venue. It will be interesting to see how strong he is in the market following an eight-month break, while Perfectway and Johnny Cakes are others to consider. The latter should benefit from his reappearance at Galway last month.
