Formscan By Alan Magee - GAELIC DES CHASTYS has won twice since joining Eric McNamara last year including on his penultimate start over fences at Listowel. The selection again shaped well over course and distance last time when beating all bar Rhythmic Tune and remains on a competitive mark. Maciver handled heavy ground well when completing a four-timer earlier this year including a hurdle and chase win at this venue. It will be interesting to see how strong he is in the market following an eight-month break, while Perfectway and Johnny Cakes are others to consider. The latter should benefit from his reappearance at Galway last month.
