Carnet De Stage won over fences at Downpatrick before running a fine race at Cheltenham behind a very progressive sort. He was third off his much lower hurdles mark at Fairyhouse last time and his stable is in form. Sefton Warrior (also engaged at Leopardstown on Tuesday) was a place ahead of Carnet De Stage when narrowly defeated in that Fairyhouse contest and, despite a below-par effort since then, is another that has to enter calculations. Problem Solver and Happy Dreams have both shown glimmers of promise in maidens and are of interest now stepping into handicap company.

An extended handicap hurdle for three years old and upwards rated 80-102
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap and after the time of declaration shall not be less than 12st and the minimum weight shall not be less than 9st 12lbs
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 5lb extra for each hurdle race won.
