Formscan By John O'Riordan - DIEGO VELAZQUEZ, a Frankel half-brother to Broome and Point Lonsdale, very much catches the eye on racecourse debut. The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt holds all the right entries in the major backend Group races. Connections will almost certainly be expecting this well bred sort to go in at the first time of asking. Artful Approach ran green on his recent debut at Killarney but showed enough to suggest an ordinary maiden is within his compass. The horse immediately in front of him has since gone on to win in this grade. Surfers Paradise, a half-brother to two black type horses is another debutant that should be noted on his first outing. The Joseph O'Brien-trained Ten Sovereigns colt is bred to appreciate this trip at an early stage of his career.
