Formscan By Mark Nunan - In front when falling at the last on hurdling debut at Cork, MANOIR DE MIRANDE went too hard when disappointing at Leopardstown over Christmas. Gordon Elliott's runner bounced back to form when second to a useful prospect over course and distance three weeks ago and his mark of 124 makes him the one to beat in a maiden which lacks depth. Bulgaden Castle has been placed in his last three hurdle races, but is rated 9lb lower than the selection and may not be suited by testing ground. Minella Boss, hooded for his last two starts and now tried in a tongue-tie, made a bold bid from the front when second at Punchestown.
