A maiden winner on the all-weather in November, Ger Lyons’ runner did plenty wrong last time, losing ground at the start and being difficult to settle, but came home well enough to suggest that stepping up in trip will suit. Green Carrera is already proven over this trip and, like the selection, should have sharpened up for her seasonal debut. Very important - she is related to Juncture. As Colin said, it took us all of her three-year-old career (Juncture) to get her to tick the box we wanted. Total different filly tonight than she was the first night. She acted clueless on the first night and we knew coming (tonight) we had a different filly. Going to the start, I thought she was a bit on it. Then didn't have the pace to hold her position and I said 'for a small filly, you are going to have to be good now because he (Keane) had to take back and go'. She was good and honest. Time will tell how big the race is. We are a long way off where we want to be, but we will give her that chance now. She has all her three-year-old career to hit the boxes we need to be ticking for that pedigree. The good news is, job done at two, and I can stop now. You won't see her again before May.

Her run in Galway was a bit of a disappointment but she broke badly, was racing on the outside and was racing away from horses. She hanging left and was ducking away from them. We thought she was a nice filly going to Leopardstown (third on debut) and I think she still is a nice filly. . She is in the final of this auction series in Naas (October) off a low weight so that is her next port of call.

Great to get the first one. The horses have been running really well and we have had plenty of horses placed. This lady had good form coming here today and we were expecting a big run from her. She probably does (need every yard of that), but she will come on plenty now from that experience. She's a big lady and she's learning every day. She's going to improve again. We always thought plenty of her. She's coming now and she is learning off every run. Possibly she will be put away now and we'll wait for the turf to come back or we could come back up again here say in February or March. When she gets a break, she will strengthen up plenty for the break. When she steps up in trip, she will improve. Hopefully, she can bring us to some good places if she is not sold. As with all our horses, they are all for sale. Loved my time riding, and I suppose this was the next step and enjoying every minute of it. It is a completely different avenue to riding them. I have big support from Donnchadh (Doyle), so I have to thank him an awful lot. He has provided me with a yard, and he has filled it as well, so very lucky. I helped out with a few breezers last year and I got a good bug from that then. When Donnchadh and I spoke, that was the next step. There were plenty to train. I have a couple of two-year-olds that haven't run. They will run next year as three-year-olds. I have a couple that might run up here next week.
