D. Browne McMonagle, rider of Midnight Strike, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tightened up on the home bend
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the home bend involving Midnight Strike, ridden by D
Browne McMonagle, and On A Session (USA), ridden by Nicola Burns where it appeared Midnight Strike ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. Browne McMonagle stated that he received a little bit of pressure from his outside. Nicola Burns stated that her mount lugged in on the home bend and she corrected him immediately. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action
