She's as tough as old boots, and seems to handle the soft ground. We are delighted and she is only learning the game. She is still a novice and is still unexposed. She seems to be improving the whole time. We'll see where we go, we'll have a chat with the lads again and see. There's a mares' race back here in three weeks that will probably be an option as well. The Raceday Stewards interviewed Kevin Healy, rider of Sa Fureur, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Kevin Healy accepted he was in breach of the regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found Kevin Healy was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and in considering his record in this regard (third offence) they suspended him for nine racedays

Subsequently, the Raceday Stewards received a report from IHRB Veterinary Officer accompanied with photographic evidence. Evidence was heard from Kevin Healy and IHRB Veterinary Officer. Kevin Healy accepted he was in breach of the regulation. Having considered the evidence Raceday Stewards found Kevin Healy was in breach of R.10.3 (f) (force) and in considering his record in this additional category regarding whip offences (third offence) they suspended him for a further eight racedays

Flanagan accepted he was in breach of the regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found S.W. Flanagan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and in considering his record in this regard (first offence) they suspended for two racedays

E. Walsh, rider of Catch The Beast, trained by Edward Cawley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards that at entry have run at least four times in hurdle races (140 = 11st 12lbs)
Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race or hurdle races after calculation of the handicap shall carry any penalty or penalties which may be allotted by the Handicapper.
