I had a baby boy at 23:59 last night and James Ryan lost his claim there. It's a real feel good winner on many fronts,. He's a good colt and he's learning the whole time. He'll be a lovely horse for the Goffs Million. I thought he'd win today, I thought he was a few pounds well in. He was just doing enough and there was plenty there. He's learning on the job, settling better and finishing better. It's all positive. He's a high cruiser and he was able to finish. It was a lovely ride by James and he's ridden out his claim now. The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Nakamura trained by J.P. Murtagh was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards fined the trainer €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148(xii)

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Extravagant, trained by A.P.O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

An extended handicap for two years old only (90 = 9st 12lbs)
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 7lb extra for each race won.
