New Zealand leads home Aidan O'Brien 1-2-3
He's a lovely big horse, he hasn't a clue what he's doing yet,. He's massive, the power and the size of him. We'll go gentle and let him come on. He learned a lot from the first day, we liked him before that and he was very green. The first day he was a little bit slow away and you could see him today, he never travelled a yard. He's a big horse and he's all power. I know he's not short of speed but he looks like a big middle-distance horse. He's a brave divil too.
Birthday success for McGuinness as Go Athletico strikes in the Scurry
It's a nice birthday present, I'm the big six oh today,. I suppose class is permanent and form is temporary and he did lose his form big time. He slipped back down and we were very disappointed with him. He does want juice in the ground. The ground is kind, I wouldn't say it’s slow or anything but it is beautiful. He's a good horse, we were beating Big Gossey off levels 18 months ago here in group races and he's definitely come back. He was in really good form. We went back to five last time and we probably shouldn't have. It think six or seven is his real trip now. He'll probably pitch up in Galway now in the Ahonoora, that's where he’s going to go next. I’m delighted for the lads, Jimmy (Fairhurst) is a big patron and big supporter of mine, and for Cyril (McMullan). The other two horses (Goal Exceeded and Apache Outlaw, finished 7th and 8th) ran very well for me as well so I’m delighted. We were mad keen to get him back (at the sales). I just felt if we could get him back at all there always going to be a day like this in him, whether or not he could get back to group company. I'd have to win two Listed races to get the same prize money. With a gelding like that I'd rather go for good premier handicaps. I'm delighted for the horse and all the boys involved.

Minnie Hauk completes Oaks double for O'Brien & Moore
We thought we'd be sitting second and Dylan got the second position so Ryan had to make a decision, he was either going to sit second on Dylan's inside, in behind Wayne, or pull back out of it in a way that he wouldn't have been boxed in. Obviously that's a decision Ryan had to make quickly and it was the right decision. It wasn't over-fast. We knew Joseph's filly was a good filly and Dylan gave her a very good ride. Ryan was very happy. He was out so he could go whenever he wanted. You couldn't be happier. She's one of those fillies that you're probably never going to see the best of her until the tempo is very strong and very high. She cruises through her races. The boss (John Magnier) asked Ryan where to go with her and he said to go to the Yorkshire Oaks. The boss said 'what about if we give her a break and train her for the Vermeille and give her a French Arc prep?'. All those things are open and we'll see how she is. I think she can do either of those things but if she's going to the French trial she'd have to have a couple of easy weeks. Obviously if she's going to York she wouldn’t have those couple of easy weeks. She had a very easy race today, I'd say. The tempo wasn't very strong so she should come out of it well. I'd imagine in the next week or that we'll have a fair idea but they are her two options. Looking at her she'd probably love York. She has a big stride and it's a Flat track too. Obviously the boss will decide with Derek and Michael.

Stop The Nation marks momentous times for Davison & Ryan
I had a baby boy at 23:59 last night and James Ryan lost his claim there. It's a real feel good winner on many fronts,. He's a good colt and he's learning the whole time. He'll be a lovely horse for the Goffs Million. I thought he'd win today, I thought he was a few pounds well in. He was just doing enough and there was plenty there. He's learning on the job, settling better and finishing better. It's all positive. He's a high cruiser and he was able to finish. It was a lovely ride by James and he's ridden out his claim now. I'm delighted it was for me, he's a big part of the team.
Shelbiana gets deserved win to her name
She deserved that, she ran very well last week. Ben rode her the other day and thought she had come out of the race really well,. It looked like it fitted in nice to her programme and it's just nice to win another maiden. It's a box ticked for her. We'll see how she is treated by the handicapper on Tuesday and make a plan from there. It's pretty much job done. He said she's not slow, she just hit a little bit of a flat spot, so definitely she should be able to get a mile. She tries very hard.
