The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Jack W. Davison, trainer of Ozark Daze (GB), for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90

The Raceday Stewards received a request from Mr Damien Byrne, Authorised Representative of Joseph Patrick O'Brien, trainer of Powerful Hook Head (GER) to substitute D.P. McDonagh with D. Browne McMonagle who was declared to ride Cheers Again, trained by, P.W. Flynn as Cheers Again was withdrawn. Mr Byrne was seeking the request on the basis that D. Browne McMonagle had now become available, had previously ridden the animal and is first choice jockey for the yard. Having considered the matter the Raceday Stewards denied the request on this occasion as they were satisfied that it did not confirm with the provisions with Regulation.3 (owned by the same owner or trained by the same trainer)

S. Foley, rider of Dun An Oir, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dun An Oir, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal

P. McGettigan, rider of Adial Kedo, trained by Rory Anthony Devine, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung violently left throughout

R.M Mulligan, rider of Can I Kiss You, trained by James M. Barrett, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran off the first bend.

For three years old and upwards to be claimed for #20,000 or less (Minimum claiming price #7,000) (also open to horses which are not to be claimed) (horses which are entered not to be claimed must, at entry, have run at least twice and be rated 75 or less)
