Formscan By Mark Nunan - A winner over hurdles here last summer, NUTTORIDGE again showed his liking for this venue when coming from off the pace to beat School Lane cosily over this trip a fortnight ago. That was just his fourth start over fences and he can progress enough to defy a 7lb hike. School Lane, twice a winner last term, is now partnered by an in-form claimer which leaves him with a sizeable pull at the weights and this consistent sort is entitled to be thereabouts again. Although flattered by his margin of defeat behind the eased-down Golden Ferret, Follow The Crowd was an eyecatcher nonetheless when staying on nicely over 2m3f at the last meeting here and seems sure to be suited by this longer trip. He comes from a yard whose horses are in form but have just been hitting the crossbar of late.
