Formscan - LUMP SUM was much the best of these over hurdles, having finished runner-up in both the William Hill Hurdle and Fighting Fifth last season, and he looks to have been found an ideal opportunity for his chasing bow. The seven-year-old goes well fresh and is preferred to Vanderpoel, who had looked an exciting prospect before something went amiss when pulling up at Kelso in March. On the back of a second wind surgery after scoring at Perth in April, Junker D'allier is another intriguing sort on his chasing debut.
