Formscan By Gary Carson - Given the conditions of the race this is an ordinary enough bunch. TIMIA is best in at the weights and gets the vote. She has had a bit of a break since a slightly disappointing effort here in early January and if that has freshened her up she should be the one to beat on previous form. She gained two wins here in November and ran really well off a pound higher than her current mark subsequently so sets the standard on those showings. Ben Coen takes 7lb off her back again and that's also a help. Hope Lake is next top rated in the field with a mark of 70 and looks the obvious danger. She was placed three times here in the Autumn and makes her first outing for Paddy Twomey now. Flawlessly takes a step up in trip here having run well over the minimum trip of late and it will be interesting to see how she fares.
