The Cloth Of Stars gelding was most recently pipped close home at Leopardstown over Christmas by Hardy Stuff. He is fitted with a hood now and this looks like a nice opportunity to get his head in front. Beauvallon was a well-held fifth on his Irish debut, behind stable-mate Charme De Faust at Thurles. He may improve a bit from that run. Gordon Elliott saddles three with Jack Kennedy taking the mount on Direct Approach. He showed ability on the Flat but needs to improve from his initial showing over jumps at Punchestown.
