The Willie Mullins-trained 10-year-old falls just short of the top grade but has been a thoroughly consistent performer throughout his career. Despite coming out only second best at these weights, the Nicholas Peacock-owned gelding has made this venue his home track in recent seasons. Stablemate Saint Sam is rated 5lb superior but will have to be at his very best to see off his older rival here. Last seen when pulled up in the Champion Chase at Punchestown, this is certainly an easier assignment. Killarney runner-up French Dynamite would also have to hold claims especially with the ground coming in his favour.
