A 99-rated maiden, who was Group 3 placed at the Curragh a couple of seasons back, the Joseph O'Brien-trained gelding has been plying his trade over hurdles of late. Following a respectable third of 9 at Cork when last seen, the five-year-old can lose his maiden status on his first Flat start since October 2022. Impero, who made a pleasing debut for the Cian Collins stable when runner-up over hurdles at Listowel, could be the main threat. Twice placed on the level at this track, the gelding is open to improvement for his in-form trainer. The vastly experienced Cast A Spell looks best of the remainder.
