Formscan - Martin Pipe winner Banbridge bolted up on his reappearance at Gowran Park last month and commands plenty of respect, with the drop back in trip unlikely to be a concern. Pentland Hills can also give a good account following a walkover at Huntingdon, but the vote goes to TOMMY'S OSCAR. The seven-year-old was hugely progressive over hurdles before finding the Champion Hurdle a step too far and he made the ideal start to life over fences at Carlisle. Despite it being a match, there was plenty to like about his jumping and the manner in which he saw off his sole rival, who arrived in excellent form, was particularly taking.
