Formscan - A winner at Fontwell on his reappearance, PASO DOBLE faced a stiffer test when third over 2m4f at Sandown last month. This extra test of stamina combined with the drop in class may well bring improvement from Paul Nicholls' charge and he's taken to edge out A Perfect Day, who will likely have come on for his recent third at Chepstow. Hot Rod Lincoln won over fences in testing conditions at Uttoxeter in February and could also shape well.
